Tytan!

So I thought I should post some pics from when Tytan was born!

He got here at 4:18 am on January 9th, 2010.

Here we are just before he was born.

Here he is!!! 4 lbs. 9 oz., 17 1/2 inches long

I was so happy to finally hold my little boy!

Jake was so sweet holding him!

All cleaned up and just chilling in his heated bassinet! He scared us a little bit with his blood sugar, and we had to stay a couple extra days but he is healthy and happy now!

We are so blessed to have Tytan here. I can't picture life without him now!

Oh man, we got some pics of tytan in the tub!!

This picture is one of my absolute favorites!!! I love how he's smiling so huge at Jake, and how you can see Jake's face smiling, too!

Don't worry, Jake made sure to edit them - he didn't want to embarass Tytan! He did a pretty good job, I think...

He used to hate getting bathed, but now he loves it. (Sometime I'll post the video of his first bath, it's pretty funny!) He didn't quite know what to think about this one though...

All done! Wrapped up all snuggly in his towel!

I sure love giving Tytan his bath at night. It's always right before we put him to bed and I love having just a few minutes just me and my boy. Plus he always gives me such huge smilesand giggles. Oh, I love this boy!!!

Tytan's first "Owie"

Last Sunday, Tytan got his first "Owie"... and he was NOT HAPPY about it!!

So here's what happened: Jake and I had just got home from church and we were holding him up to the mirror, getting him to smile. Then Jake wanted to go change his clothes so he started handing him to me and all of a sudden Tytan whipped his head forward and smacked it really hard on the necklace I was wearing. (You can see it, it's the brown one at the top of the picture!)Jake and I both looked at each other like, "uh-oh... this is gonna be bad!" and then Tytan started howling!!! It was such a sad cry, too!

He cried for only a few minutes and then he was fine. He did have this little bump at first, but it went away, he didn't even bruise, and I'll bet he's forgotten about it already!

He's so tough...

Yay!!! Internet!!

Jake and I finally got the internet yesterday!! We got a cute little mini laptop, and a wireless plan so we can take it anywhere - Whoo!!!

Now I can finally keep updating the blog and showing off little Tytan! Stay tuned!.....
