Summer pics!

Alright, here are some of our pictures from this summer! It took me long enough to post these... now it's time for some fall pictures!

Oh boy!! Bike ride!! Where does he come up with these faces?! :)

Tytan's first bike ride around the grove! He was so still and quiet during the ride, he sure liked looking at everything. We had just a quick ride, because of the weather - look at that gray sky in the background!!
 

We went and visited Jake while they loaded hay! Tytan LOVED being in the truck, he couldn't sit still!

We were getting ready for grocery shopping and it was so funny - He had scooted himself backwards against the wall and underneath his car seat, and thats where I found him :)

tytan's first time in the kiddie pool - he is such a water baby! The water was pretty chilly, otherwise I would have let him play out there longer.

Yay! Pink hair! Mohawk! Kisses!! I had come home from Utah and Jake had gotten his hair cut the night before. Turns out he had his mom leave the strip in the middle, so he had a mohawk! Only for that morning though, he went and got it fixed. And I had my awesome pink hair, until I had to bleach it out for work... turns out hot pink doesn't fly too well when you work at a hospital... who knew? :)

Jake was so excited for us to get home from Utah! check out his mohawk :)

Gramma Cherney and Tytan - So cute!

While we were filling up on yummy food, Tytan was busy with those cute little fingers!

He was making the funniest faces when we were at the temple!

It was so great to see my sis get married to such a great guy (welcome to the fam, Shawn!) and to go through the temple with everybody. Plus the reception was beautiful, the bed and breakfast was fantastic (I love me some stuffed french toast!!) and having all the aunts, uncles, cousins, and granparents there was sooo fun!!

Long time, No posts!!

Oh my goodness!! I have been so busy (...lazy) lately, and I know you have just been DYING to hear about my little life!! so, lets update.

The last post was Jakes surgery. It went really well - he's all kinds of healed up; you can't even tell he got in the wreck. Then we had Jakes birthday, we ate oreo ice cream cake, and it was so fun! I was really glad Jake got a good birthday party and we were actually able to have the whole family together. Then Sidney had her bridal shower, then got married!! I got some fabulous pics that I will post later. We also had 2 baby showers for Emily (So fun!!) and Tytan is 7 months old today!! crazy.

Well I'm tired, it's almost midnight, and I'm off to bed now!! tomorrow I'll post pics if i get the chance!

Jake and Tate's Wreck and Surgery

Ouch... Jake and Tate got in a wreck!! It was kind of a funny story actually!

So it was on May 18th. Tate came over to hang out and I had made dinner for all of us. After we finished eating Tate was joking around that he and jake could share me to make dinner and run all their errands. So I told him sure! I'll make all your doctor appointments and bake you cookies... And then it ended up that I was driving them to the E.R., making all their doctor appointments and taking care of both of them for a little while after the wreck! (Ok, it's still sucky but I had to laugh about that.)

So around 10:30 they decided to run in to McDonalds and get some ice cream. I told them I wanted butterfinger, and then I got tytan ready for bed. They left, and probably only 5 minutes later I get a call from Tate! I thought they were going to tell me that they were out of butterfinger. Instead Tate said "Maddie, we just got in a wreck. come get us." I didnt believe him, so I just kept saying "no, whatever, just hurry home." Then Tate yelled "Maddie!! I'm (bleep!) -ing serious! We're just down the road! Get your butt out here!" and then he hung up. So! Tytan got all buckled up in his car seat, I grabbed the camera and the phone and drove to where they were. I felt stupid running down the street past the policemen in my pajamas, with no makeup on, carrying Tytan, but I was so relieved when I got there to find both guys were bloodied up and bruised, but okay. They were joking around and everything.

So what happened was someone was backing into their driveway or something, and didnt have his lights on. He was sticking out in the middle of the road right by one of the curves, so Tate didn't see him until they were right on top of him. And he had just added the last little mustang on the car that morning! I felt so bad for him.

Ughhh!!!! Tate!!! oh man. His lip was freaking ripped away from his gums! you could see the roots to his teeth!!! OOOWWW!!!

The EMT's were laughing because Jake and Tate were being pretty good natured :) those are my boys!

So both the guys were okay after the wreck. Tate got some stitches and was good to go, and Jake had to get some surgery on his nose. ( I tease him that he got a nose job!) But now they're all kinds of healed up and hopefully they'll wear their seatbelts from now on!

Alright - I'm at the hospital waiting room right now, waiting for my sweet hubby to get out of surgery - He's getting his nose all fixed after his and tate's car accident!

Here he is, all ready to go - the anesthesiologist (Pat!) was pretty funny, too. He said "Jake, this surgery is safer than riding in a car! ...well wait, maybe I shouldn't be saying that to you!!"

Well, even though it's not a MAJOR surgery, it's still on my hubby, and I'm nervous... I get to see the Doctor in about 10 minutes though, so he'll tell me how Jake is!

Ok, Doctor Hinckley came in before I could finish the post! He said Jake is doing so good, He doesn't need the packing up his nose, He didn't bleed hardly at all, and I get to see him soon!!! YAY!!!

*By the way, Jake's surgery was done at Mountainview, up in Idaho Falls, and it was fantastic! I highly recommend this place!*
